Naw Bawe Phaw Shar is a 29-year-old Myanmar helper who is widowed and has an 8-year-old child. She has approximately 2 years and 4 months of working experience in Singapore, primarily in childcare and general household duties.

She shared that she previously worked for a family in Singapore for 1 year and 8 months, in a household consisting of Sir, Madam, a 7-month-old baby girl and a 63-year-old Ah Ma. Her main responsibility was caring for the baby, including bathing and playing with her. She was also responsible for cooking and maintaining household cleanliness.

She subsequently worked for another Singaporean family for 8 months, consisting of Sir, Madam and two girls aged 11 and 8. Her responsibilities included childcare, sending and fetching the children from school, cooking and managing general household duties.

Through her previous working experience and raising her own child, she has gained hands-on experience in caring for young children and managing their daily needs. She is also willing to care for elderly persons, including assisting with bathing, although she feels that childcare is her stronger area. She is comfortable sleeping in the same room with either a child or an elderly person if required.

She is able to cook Myanmar and Chinese dishes, can follow recipes and is willing to learn more cooking styles according to the employer’s preferences. She can also manage general household duties, including cleaning and maintaining household cleanliness.

Through the interaction at the training centre, she appears to be a quiet and patient person. She loves both dogs and cats and mentioned that she has experience caring for her employer’s mother’s dog for approximately one month.
