Other Remarks
Theingi Tun is a 24-year-old Myanmar helper who is married and has one 5-year-old child of her own. She is the second of three siblings and has 3 years and 4 months of working experience in Myanmar.
She previously worked for her first employer for 2 years and 2 months. The family consisted of the employer, employer’s husband and two children aged 5 and 2 years old. Her main responsibilities included taking care of the children, bathing, changing clothes, feeding, bringing and fetching them from school, and playing with them. She was also responsible for cooking and general household cleaning. Through this experience, she gained hands-on experience in managing children’s daily routines and needs.
She then worked for her second employer for 1 year and 2 months. The household consisted of the employer, employer’s husband and a 78-year-old Ah Gong who was a stroke patient. Her responsibilities included assisting Ah Gong with bathing, changing diapers, feeding, helping him with exercises and attending to his daily needs. She was also responsible for cooking and general household cleaning. Through this experience, she gained practical experience in caring for an elderly person with mobility and daily care needs.
She can cook Myanmar food and simple Chinese dishes. She is able to follow recipes and is willing to learn new cooking styles according to the employer’s preference. She can also manage general household duties such as cleaning and maintaining household cleanliness.
She likes dogs and cats, although she has not had direct experience taking care of pets before. She is comfortable sleeping together with either a child or an elderly person if required.
Through the interaction at the training centre, she appears to be a cheerful and patient person. She shared that she is comfortable caring for around two children aged 1 year and above. She is able to handle both childcare and elderly care, but her stronger area is elderly care due to her previous hands-on experience caring for a 78-year-old stroke patient.
Families looking for a helper with both childcare and elderly care experience may consider her, especially those who require elderly care support, based on her practical experience, patience and willingness to learn.

Our journey began with a simple observation from our own experiences as an employer: the challenges many face in finding reliable, skilled domestic helper while navigating the high agency fees and complexities of paperwork and processes. We realized that many agencies have overlooked the essence of service – understanding the genuine needs of both employers and employees.

Our company aim to integrate the current technology to make the hiring processes seamless for employer and they can do it even at the comfort of their home. This could significantly lower the cost to as low as the bare cost of direct hiring a helper. Our vision was born out of this understanding, and with a determination to bridge this gap, Easy Hire Maid Agency was established.
